Patna, July 21 (UNI) With opposition parties gearing up to corner the government on the deteriorating law and order situation and other issues, the Monsoon session of the Bihar legislature beginning Monday is all set to be stormy.
The Monsoon session of Bihar Legislature will continue till July 26. Apart from the government placing the first supplementary budget for the financial year 2024-25, important bills are scheduled to be taken up in both Houses of the state legislature.
The oath would be administered to newly elected MLAs in by-elections held in Agiaon and Rupauli on the opening day of the session. Shiv Prakash Ranjan of CPI(ML) was elected from Agiaon while Shankar Singh, Independent, was elected from the Rupauli seat.
