Railways to implement Video Surveillance System in 756 stations

Bhubaneswar, July 6 (UNI) Indian Railways will implement Video Surveillance System (VSS) project (CCTV Cameras Network) under Nirbhaya Fund at 756 Railway Stations across the country.
According to a release from East Coast Railways (ECoR), the execution of the job through the agency has also been finalized.
The first phase of the project will cover major stations of categories A1, A, B and C numbering 756 and is likely to be completed by January 2023.

Meghalaya to adopt organic farming

Shillong, Aug 18 (UNI) Agriculture authorities in Meghalaya will continue to educate farmers on minimizing the use of chemical fertilizers and strengthen existing programs for expanding organic
cultivation and Meghalaya will gradually move from inorganic fertilizer practices to organic and bio-fertilizers by means of capacity augmentation in the government as well as private sector
through entrepreneurs even as limited use of chemical fertilizers would be allowed for the time being, a government notification said on Thursday.
