Sikkim: Earthquake of 5.4 magnitude recorded in north and northwest of Lachung

Gangtok, Dec 1 ( UNI) An earthquake of 5.4 magnitude occurred, in the northwest of Lachung, Sikkim, on Tuesday night, authorities said on Wednesday.
The earthquake happened at 7.23 pm at latitude of 31.56 and longitude 87.81,with a 10 km depth. The location was 439 kms North and North West of Lachung situated at an altitude of 2700 meters and 118 kms from Gangtok.
