Odisha power surplus because of advance planning: Naveen

Bhubaneswar, Jan 6 (UNI) Advance planning by the Odisha Government has elevated the state from a power deficit to a surplus one, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said on Thursday.

Welcoming the Management trainees and junior technicians to Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited ( OPTCL), a State PSU, at an orientation programme here, Patnaik said his Government has given utmost thrust to building quality power infrastructure as electricity is the prime mover of the economy.

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and four other candidates of the Saffron party are 'set’ to be declared elected unopposed as none of their opponents had filed nominations against them in the five Legislative Assembly Constituencies till Wednesday (March 27), the last date of filing nominations for the April 19 polls.
