Agartala, Sep 8 (UNI) Soon after the demand of election to Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) by the alliance partner of BJP government in Tripura IPFT, the tribal based opposition Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra (INPT) has called for a united fight against BJP in ADC.
Speaking to media the INPT general secretary Jagadish Debbarma said that during past two and half years 'misrule and anarchy' of BJP led government had brought the state to the brink of disaster. Largescale corruption in government contracts, failure of the administration to ensure governance, continuous deterioration of law and order, health and education under Biplab Kumar Deb pulled Tripura down from the development spectrum.
"They hoodwinked the people of the state with tall and unrealistic promises none of which has naturally been fulfilled, they are ruling by violence resorting to bluster and false rhetoric, now with the ADC polls drawing near the partners in coalition have started fighting between themselves, seriously damaging the peaceful social fabric of the tribal dominated hilly areas," Debbarma alleged.
