Sikkim Nagrik Samaj submits a memorandum to CM

Gangtok, Sep 24 ( UNI ) Passang Sherpa Spokesperson Sikkeme Nagrik Samaj,said the Samj has submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister PS Tamang,here today.The Samaj has requested the Govt to ‘initiate the inclusion of the Evolution of Article 371 F and its Importance ,in the School text books to help our younger generation to understand the distinct identity of Sikkim,within the Union of India.’
The conference hosted at a local hotel saw the presence of former Minister KN Upreti,former Chief Secretary PK Pradhan,former State Congress Committee President Bharat Basnett ,former GMC Mayor KN Topgay,former Minister TT Bhutia and Sonam G Sherpa,State Coordinator,the executive members.
