Kohima, Sep 16 (UNI) The Against Corruption and Unabated Taxation (ACAUT) of Nagaland has written an ‘open letter’ to the Governor of Nagaland, sought his immediate intervention to break the shackles of unabated taxation and corruptions in the State.

In the open letter, ACAUT chairman Tia Longchar, co-chairman Simon Kelio and secretary Hetoi Chishi said unscrupulous persons in transport unions were hand in glove with some members of various Naga political groups through their latest modus operandi in order to continue their hold on illegal and unabated taxation and alleged that various orders and diktats have been issued to ensure that only certain identified transporters carry particular goods and items at their prescribed rates which are way above the usual rates.
