TMC to promote young bloods in Meghalaya

Shillong, May 17 (UNI) With Trinamool Congress gearing for 2023 assembly polls in Meghalaya, former Chief Minister and senior party legislator, Dr Mukul Manda Sangma on Tuesday said the TMC will give preference for fresh bloods to enter into politics.
“We are going to provide opportunity for fresh bloods to enter into politics. Those fresh blood who think that they can be part of this team who will confront the whole political bandwagon who is at present is in the ruling dispensation,” Sangma, who is also the Leader of Opposition in the Meghalaya Assembly, told reporters.
Noting that people of the state will witness a new political dynamics unfolding in the months to come, the senior TMC legislator also hinted that most of the sitting legislators from the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) will be defeated in the upcoming assembly elections.
