Shillong, Sep 23 (UNI) Veteran Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Meghalaya Assembly, Dr Mukul Sangma on Thursday said that the Congress party needs “course correction” and indicated that he would speak only to central party leaders.
The two-time former Chief Minister has been upset ever since the Congress High Command installed former Union Minister and three-time Lok Sabha member, Vincent Pala as the state president without consultation with him.
Sangma, who is considered as the undisputed leader after late former Lok Sabha Purno Agitok Sangma from Garo Hills region in western part of Meghalaya, said that he would continue to strive and ensure that the party is strengthen.
