MLAs of Congress and JMM object to construction of new road from Sambhalpur to Sithio Ranchi

Ranchi, Sep 14 (UNI) A delegation of Gram Sabha Lomboi (Jaldega) under the leadership of MLAs Naman Viksal Kongadi and MLA Jigga Susaran Horo met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Mantralaya on Tuesday.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through which the delegation has placed a demand before the Chief Minister that under the Bharatmala project, approval has been received for a new 6-lane road from Sambalpur, Orissa, via Kolebira assembly constituency of Simdega district to Sithio Ranchi Ring Road.
The delegation has requested the Chief Minister to expand this road on NH 143 itself. The delegation apprised the Chief Minister that NH-143 is near this newly approved path and 'SH' path goes from Orissa to Ranchi from some distance, in which farmers have already been impacted by destroying the cultivable land and forest in huge quantity.
