Siliguri, Jul 29 (UNI) BJP leader representing Darjeeling Lok Sabha seat Raju Bista today slammed the administration of Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) and the West Bengal government, accusing them of neglecting the commercial hub of north Bengal, Siliguri, as vast areas have been waterlogged triggered by rains.
" Siliguri, which has the potential to become a Tier-1 city like Bangalore. but, 34-years of CPIM misrule and 10-years of TMC misgovernance has resulted in
Siliguri becoming a stagnant city with crumbling infrastructure, zero waste management and no urban amenities," . Mr Bista said in a statement.
