Ram Temple foundation laying ceremony aimed to influence Bihar assembly election: Yashwant Sinha

Patna, Aug 2 (UNI) Terming the Ram Temple Bhoomi Pujan ceremony slated for August 5 in Ayodhya as a "political agenda" of the BJP to influence Bihar Assembly elections, former Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha today said those attending the groundbreaking ceremony will be violating the Covid-19 protocols of the Centre.
Mr Sinha who is on a tour of Bihar said here today that the Bhumi Pujan ceremony blatantly violated the Covid protocols when the union government has banned social, political, religious, cultural, academic and other large congregations across the nation .
Describing the ceremony as a glaring example of hypocrisy of BJP, he alleged that the saffron brigade is trying to cashing on it gain political mileage.
