New dawn of democracy in WB, people getting central schemes benefits: Mangal

Patna, 31 May (UNI) Senior BJP leader and West Bengal in-charge Mangal Pandey Sunday claimed that a “new dawn of democracy” had emerged in West Bengal and that people were now receiving the benefits of Central welfare schemes without discrimination.
Pandey said here that with the blessings of the people, the BJP had formed a new government in the state under the leadership of Suvendu Adhikari. He described the political change as not merely a transfer of power but the beginning of a new era marked by an end to appeasement, corruption and political violence.
Claiming that several elected representatives were leaving the All India Trinamool Congress after the formation of the new government, Pandey said the development reflected the aspirations of the people of West Bengal. “Those who worked under pressure for years are now openly joining the mainstream of development,” he said.
