Providing jobs to one member of victim family after murder will promote killings of SCs, STs in Bihar: Tejaswi

Patna, Sep 5 (UNI) Leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly Tejasvi Prasad Yadav on Saturday said the announcement made by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for providing government job to one member of victim family of Scheduled Castes (Dalit) and Scheduled Tribes after murder would promote killings of Dalit community in the state.
Mr Yadav said that Mr Kumar should have taken steps to ensure that no Dalit would be killed in Bihar but instead of taking such action, he had made a unique announcement which would promote killings of dalit community in the state. Crime graph had already increased alarmingly and atrocities against oppressed section would aggravate further with the new announcement of Chief Minister.
Leader of the opposition wondered what kind of announcement had been made by Mr Kumar as one member of victim family of only SCs and STs would get government job in the event of murder but no other caste and community would get such benefits. What was the fault of upper castes, backward caste, extremely backward castes and others who would not get such benefits, he asked.
