Nitish government fails, Bihar on way to become global Covid-19 hotspot:Tejaswi

Patna, Jul 18 (UNI) RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav today attacked the Nitish Kumar government over the spike in coronavirus cases in Bihar, and said if the current rate of test continues, the state will soon become the global Covid 19 hotspot.
The leader of opposition in Bihar Assembly tweeted that a record number of 2,226 Covid 19 cases were detected in a single day in Bihar and infection rate increased to 21.7 per cent in the state which was the highest in the country.
In order to prevent this alarming situation becoming the national headlines, Nitish Kumar government is suppressing the figure, he accused.
