Patna, Sep 24 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today supported Agriculture reforms initiated by the Centre and said it was in the interest of farmers.
Mr Kumar, while responding to query of media during informal interaction with them, said that his government had taken remedial measures in 2006 for removing barriers faced by farmers in selling their produce in any market across the country.
Earlier, procurements of food grains was almost negligible in Bihar and his government had made arrangement for procurements through Primary Agriculture Cooperative and Credit Society (PACS), he further said.
