RJD-Congress regime did not hold Panchayat elections for 23 years in Bihar: Sushil Modi

Patna, Aug 30 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today alleged that RJD- Congress regime did not hold Panchayat elections for 23 years and even ignored representation of weaker sections and women in the lowest level of democratic setup.
Mr Modi while addressing the executive committee of Panchayat cell of BJP, said RJD- Congress regime did not hold Panchayat elections for 23 years as both the parties had no concern for Panchayat level democratic setup.
Panchayat elections were held in 2003 but no reservation was given to the weaker sections and women, he added.
