A faction of RJD prepared to accept leadership of Nitish: Modi

Patna, Dec 01 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi today took potshot at leader of opposition and RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, saying a faction of his party was desperate to accept the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while he himself was opposing any such move and sharply criticising Mr Kumar just to defend family based politics of RJD initiated by his father Lalu Prasad, presently the president of the party.
Mr Modi tweeted that RJD was facing dilemma as its one faction was desperate to accept the leadership of Chief Minister Mr Kumar to revive its fate while the another faction led by Mr Tejaswi Prasad Yadav was strongly opposing any such move just to protect family based politics of RJD started long back by his father Mr Prasad. A party like RJD, with no principles and policies, was often found to be existing in quandry and it was prepared to go for any sinister design to grab the power, he remarked.
BJP leader, in another tweet, said that RJD president Mr Prasad used to rule 20 years by dividing society on caste lines but the new politics of development of all taking together all sections of the society launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had defeated such brand of politics being pursued by RJD.
