Manjhi meets Nitish, speculations rife over joining NDA

Patna, Aug 27 (UNI) Former Bihar Chief Minister and president of Hindustani Awam Morcha Jeetan Ram Manjhi on Thursday called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, triggering speculations that his party would join NDA soon, a realignment of political forces before upcoming Assembly Elections in the state.
Mr Manjhi called on Chief Minister Mr Kumar at his official residence which fueled speculations over HAM joining NDA. After his meeting with Mr Kumar, while responding to queries of media persons, Mr Manjhi, however, remained tight lipped over his next move, and described the meeting as "apolitical".
Mr Manjhi said that he had called on Mr Kumar to draw his attention towards problems of his constituency. After repeated queries of media persons, he said that picture would become clear in a day or two, by August 30.
