Future leaders of the country will emerge from among students : Mamata

Kolkata, Aug 28 (UNI) Recalling her political struggle, which also began as a student activist, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday said future leaders of the country will emerge from among students.
Taking to her twitter handle, on the occasion of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad Foundation Day, Ms Banerjee said, " Today is #TMCPFoundationDay. Youths and students are the future of the country. "
" They are talented, skilful, hardworking. My political struggle also began as a student activist, " she added.
" Future leaders of the country will emerge from among students, " the Chief Minister noted.
" Because of the ongoing pandemic and lockdown, instead of the annual #TMCPFoundationDay rally at Mayo Road, a virtual rally will be held today on @AITCofficial social media platforms, " she informed.
" I will be addressing my dear students and activists of TMCP at 3 PM, " the Trinamool supremo stated.
