Mamata to remain CM till 2036, then Abhishek: Kunal Ghosh

Kolkata, May 2 (UNI) Mamata Banerjee will remain West Bengal Chief Minister till 2036, following which her nephew Abhishek Banerjee will take over the reins of government, state's ruling Trinamool Congress spokesperson and former MP Kunal Ghosh prophesied on Monday.
However, things would be different if Banerjee has to shift to Delhi and take over the responsibility of running the country, said Ghosh in a Facebook post on the occasion of the first anniversary of the third Trinamool Congress government in the state under the present Chief Minister.
"I can state as a soldier of the Trinamool Congress that till 2036 Mamata di (elder sister Mamata) will stay on as Bengal Chief Minister. And in 2036, Abhishek will take oath as Chief Minister at a function where she would be present as a guardian," said Ghosh, a senior journalist.
