Left and Congress gear to make bandh successful, West Bengal govt all set to foil it

Behrampore, Nov 25 (UNI) The Left and the Congress, who have forged an alliance for the crucial West Bengal assembly polls next year, are gearing up for a nationwide general strike called by the Left wing Trade Unions against the Centre's policies.
Behrampore, a Congress bastion, is likely to witness some impact of the shutdown as the party has been campaigning vigorously for the success of the strike asking people and shopkeepers to participate.
Congress workers were seen working hard to ensure the bandh is endorsed by the common people.
