Babul Supriyo called on CM Mamata Banerjee at Nabanna

Kolkata, Sep 20 (UNI) Former Union minister Babul Supriyo on Monday called on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at her secretariat office Nabanna, exactly two days after the BJP MP joined state ruling Trinamool Congress in presence of Abhishek Banerjee (MP) on Saturday.
Babul Supriyo was seen entering the state secretariat at Howrah, along with TMC Rajya Sabha member Derek O Brien, who was also present when the playback singer turned politician joined the TMC.
" I am happy with the talks we had with the chief minister," Babul Supriyo told the waiting reporters after emerging from the CM office. ' i will perform whatever task is thrust upon me. I am also grateful to Abhisekh Banerjee for giving me this opportunity" Babul Supriyo said.
