BJP has stronger position in Assam: Ram Madhav

Guwahati, Sep 4 (UNI) BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav on Friday said that BJP in Assam is on a stronger position than 2016 and the party will win 100 plus seats in the upcoming election in the state.
Addressing the first executive meeting of the newly-formed state committee of Assam BJP, Mr Madhav said that in 2016, the situation was not conducive for the party, as it had just lost elections in Bihar and Delhi, but in spite of that the party stormed to power in Assam with 86 seats with its alliance partners.
Taking a potshot at the Congress-AIUDF alliance, Mr Madhav, who is also In-charge of the North East, said in politics arithmetic does not work it’s the chemistry which works and BJP knows how to gel around with partners.
