Congress and JMM spreading fear and rumours for their eagerness to grab power: Modi

Khunti, Dec 3 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti morcha stating that their agenda was only to loot the state and were so eager to capture the power in the state that they are spreading fear and rumours among the people.
Addressing an election rally at the Birsa College stadium, he said that the people needed to remain alert from the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha as they are already aware of their history and acts. He said, both the parties have eyes on the natural resources of the state. He said that the leaders of JMM and Congress do not want industrialisation and development in the area as they are aware that if the people start getting money then nobody will give value to them.
" I argue that on the day of the election turn up in huge numbers at the polling booths near you and by voting in large numbers reject the fake and rumours being spread by these parties," he said that the people needed to press the symbol of lotus to give strength to Jharkhand which has turned 19 as the elections for Jharkhand was for development of the state and to continue the benefits of the double engine government.
He said, the huge turn out of the people in the first phase of the elections has made three things clear that first the people of Jharkhand believe in democracy and they want to further strengthen the democratic values. Secondly the BJP government in Jharkhand has broken the backbone of the maoists who have been confined to a smaller area due to which fear has lessened among the people and development was taking place.
"On November 30 those who have been rejected by the people tried to create an environment of fear which was watched by the entire country however their actions were rejected by the people for which the people of Jharkhand needed to be congratulated," he said adding thirdly that people have faith on BJP and Lotus as they are aware that it is the only BJP which can assure development of Jharkhand.
