CAB condoles former President Pranab Mukherjee's demise

Kolkata, Aug 31 (UNI) Avishek Dalmiya, President, CAB, today said Bharat Ratna and former President of India Pranab Mukherjee's demise has left everyone at the Cricket Association of Bengal sad and heartbroken.
" His death has created a void that will be hard to fill. A colossus in administration and an institution in statesmanship, Sri Mukherjee was also a sports lover. "
" When he was the Defence Minister of the nation, CAB had received his unequivocal support and patronage. He had a warm relation with Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya and always extended any help that was needed from him for smooth operation of CAB, " he added.
