Villagers refuse to conduct last rites of a villager

Sambalpur, Sep 24 (UNI) In a very unfortunate incident, the villagers of mahulpali village under Padmapur Subdivision of Baragarha district refused to carry the body of a villager to the cremation ground and conduct his last rites alleging that the body was touched by a member of the SC Community.
Sources said Munchu Sandha (45) suffering from severe Liver problem was rushed to VSSIMSAR Burla on Saturday for treatment but he died before the treatment began.
As per the rule the authorities conducted a postmortem of the body.
