Kolkata, Aug 31 (UNI) An era has come to an end. A colossus in public life has left for heavenly abode, was how Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar described former president Pranab Mukherjee who passed away in Delhi today.
'Deeply condole the death of former President Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee,' the state's first citizen said.
'He served Mother India with statesman spirit like a sage rising above partisan politics,' Mr Dhankhar said in a message.
