Press Club, Kolkata, concerned over arrest of reporter covering Sandeshkhali issue, demands release

Kolkata, Feb 20 (UNI) Press Club, Kolkata, has expressed concern over the arrest of electronic media journalist Santu Pan while covering the alleged atrocities of women at Sandeshkhali and demanded his release.
The Republic Bangla TV channel journalist was arrested on Monday evening, the Club said in a statement.
"If any specific complaint is against him, that is subject to investigation. But the arrest of the working reporter is being protested by Press Club, Kolkata," the statement added.
