Two judge bench of Calcutta HC stays the second autopsy of BJP supporter's body hours after order by a single judge bench

Kolkata, Oct 17 (UNI) The death of a BJP supporter at a state-run hospital in this city sparked a high-voltage drama at Calcutta High Court on Friday as a division bench stayed the autopsy of his body within hours of a single-bench granting the plea for a second post mortem.
The division bench of Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice Arijit Baneree directed the authorities to preserve the body till Monday after the state government moved the bench challenging the single-bench order.
The family was informed of his death on October 13 and was asked to collect the body from the state-run SSKM Hospital here, petitioner's lawyer Phiroze Edulji said.
