Dharmendra Pradhan requests Odisha CM for speedy implementation of PM SVAMITVA scheme

Bhubaneswar, Oct 9 (UNI) Union Minister of Education and Skill Development Dharmendra Pradhan has requested Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to intervene personally for the expeditious implementation of the PM SVAMITVA (Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas.) in the state, it was reported on Saturday.
Mr Pradhan said there are many inhabited villages in the country including in Odisha where survey of land has not yet been done. So many owners of the property in rural areas do not have requisite legal documents for their property.
The PM SVAMITVA scheme was launched in April 2020 to establish the ownership of property in rural areas by mapping of land parcels using drone technology and provide records of rights to village house hold owners.
