Odisha govt orders strict implementation of lockdown norms

Bhubaneswar, Jul 17(UNI) Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on Friday directed the District Collectors, SPs, Municipal Commissioners, Police Commissioner to implement the lockdown norms strictly without any compromise with public health.
Perturbed over the spike in the covid positive cases the state government has imposed 14 days complete lockdown in four most hotspot districts- Ganjam, Khordha,Cuttack and Jajpur besides Rourkela city.
The lockdown was enforced from 2100 hrs tonight to midnight of July 31.
