Covid  tally in Odisha  surges to 10,43,745 with 276 new cases in past 24 hours, toll  rises 8361

Bhubaneswar, Nov 08 (UNI ) The covid tally in Odisha today surged to 10,43,745 with the detection of fresh 276 cases in the past 24 hours while the death toll rose to 8361 with four more fatalities reported in the health audit from three districts.
Health and Family Welfare department sources said out of 276 new cases,159 were reported from the quarantine centres and 117 as local contact cases from as many as 18 districts in Odisha.
At least 55 cases, about 20 percent of the total new cases, were reported in the age group of 0 to 18years.

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Altogether, 168 nominations filed for the upcoming Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were found to be valid after scrutiny of papers on Thursday, while the process of scrutinising nominations against Itanagar and Daporijo constituencies has been adjourned till Friday, the results of which would be out by 11 a.m., an election official said.
