Odisha reports  529 covid 19 cases in past  24 hours, tally surges to 10,32,673

Bhubaneswar,Oct 12 (UNI) The daily Covid load in Odisha, which declined to less than 500 mark on Sunday last, shot up to 529 in the past 24 hours taking the tally in the state to 10,32,673.
Health and Family Welfare department sources said in the past 24 hours 308 new cases were reported from the quarantine centres and 221 as local contact cases from 19 districts of the state.
The other eleven districts reported no new covid cases in the past 24 hours. Khordha district continued to witness the highest number of covid cases and registered 274 new cases which is 51.79 percent of the total positive cases.
