Bhubaneswar, Nov 03 (UNI) Covid tally in Odisha today surged to 2,94,415 with the detection of 1209 new cases in the past 24 hours while the toll rose to1352 after 12 patients succumbed to the virus.
Health and Family Welfare department sources here said 697 new cases were reported from the quarantine centres and 504 as local contacts from 30 districts in the past 24 hours taking the tally to 2,94,415.
During the past 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported from nine districts with Khordha registering three deaths and Dhenkanal two deaths. One each death was reported from the rest seven districts.
