Kohima DC seals Nagaland Civil Secretariat

Kohima, Nov 15 (UNI) The Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohima Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that in view of a number of COVID-19 positive cases, the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Office Complex in Kohima is declared as a sealed Area for 48 hours.
According to official sources the notice has declared as a Sealed Area with effect from tomorrow (Monday) to Tuesday for a period of 48 hours, as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in workplace settings issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR Division), Government of India, Dated 4th June 2020.
The notice said that the aforementioned Nagaland Civil Secretariat Office Complex in Kohima is ‘sealed’ till Tuesday, the 17th November, wherein fumigation of the premises is to be done and aggressive contact tracing will be initiated following all health Safety measures and standard operating procedure (SOP) of the Government. “The sealed area is mapped and cordoned off and the public and all concerned have been advised to follow all safety precautions of wearing masks all the time, frequently washing hands and maintain social and physical distances to ensure public hygiene and personal safety within the proximity of the sealed area,” the notice said.
