48 new COVID-19 cases in Manipur

Imphal, Jan 7 (UNI) : Manipur on Friday logged 48 new Covid 19 positive cases. The new cases included six Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel, a state health official said on Friday.The positive cases from the general population were from Imphal East (6), Imphal West (13), Thoubal (4), Bishnupur (4), Kakching (1), Senapati (1), Kangpokpi (1), Chandel (3) and Churachandpur (9). The death toll stood at 2009 as no one died .
Eighteen persons were discharged taking the total number of active cases to 346. The cumulative number of positive cases was 1,26,012 and recovered cases was 1,23,657 The recovery rate was 98.13 percent. UNI NS SSP
