100 new covid cases in Manipur

Imphal, Oct 4 (UNI) : Manipur today logged 100 persons (52M, 48F) new COVID19 positive cases .
They were from Imphal East (29), Imphal West(30), Thoubal (4), Bishnupur (7), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (16),Churachandpur (3), Chandel (1), Senapati (3), Pherzaw] (1) and Kangpokpi (4).
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported six Covid 19 deaths. The cumulative number of deaths was 1868. Today, 154 persons were discharged. The cumulative number of positive cases was 1,21,146 , recovered cases 1,17,076 , active cases

Indian insurgents still looming in Bangladesh : BSF

Shillong, Nov 30 (UNI) Indian insurgents groups (IIGs) are “still looming” Bangladesh’s Chittagong Hill Tracts and few areas bordering Meghalaya, a Border Security Force (BSF) official said on Tuesday.
“There are no organised camps as such, but individually some of the IIGs are still there. They are moving to and fro Bangladesh and India individually,” Principal Staff Officer of BSF Meghalaya
