Five die, 322 new cases, 298 recover in Manipur

Imphal, Oct 18 (UNI) : Five persons died of Covid while 322 new cases were detected. The state also recorded 298 recoveries. Complete lockdown was enforced in Thangmeiband area of Imphal West considering wide spread spread of Covid in the area.
In the past twenty-four hours, 309 persons (192 Male, 117 Female) from general population and 13 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID1I9 positive cases.
The positive cases were from RIMS (25), JNIMS (11), Kamjong (5), Tengnoupal (2), Churachandpur (8), Bishnupur (9), Senapati (10), Kangpokpi (4), Thoubal (55), Jiribam (1), Swiss Hospital (2), Chandel (7), CMC (4), Imphal East (2), RD Wing (6), Imphal West (99), Raj Medicity (4), Jivan Hospital (1), Babina Diagnostics (23), Noncy (26). Chamber (1), Shija Hospital (11), Ukhrul (3) and Maipakpi Hospital (3).
