Coronavirus tally in state reaches 98,610, more than 30 lakh tests performed so far

Ranchi, Oct 22 (UNI) The Coronavirus patients tally in the state reached to 98,610 as a total of 549 fresh cases of Covid-19 were detected across the 23 districts of Jharkhand on Thursday.

During the day 8 deaths were reported including four from Ranchi, 2 from Bokaro and 1 each from Dhanbad and Koderna districts after which the overall death count has increased to 859 in the state. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 0.87 per cent.
