Corona tally reaches 64,439 in Jharkhand as 1,702 fresh cases found

Ranchi, Sep 15 (UNI) With a total of 1,702 fresh cases of Coronavirus being detected across the state on Tuesday the overall tally of Covid-19 patients in Jharkhand has reached to 64,439.

During the day 8 deaths were also reported including 3 from East Singhbhum, 2 each from Dhanbad and West Singhbhum districts and 1 from Bokaro after which the overall death count has gone upto 571 in the state. The increase in fatalities has increased the mortality rate to 0.88 percent.

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and four other candidates of the Saffron party are 'set’ to be declared elected unopposed as none of their opponents had filed nominations against them in the five Legislative Assembly Constituencies till Wednesday (March 27), the last date of filing nominations for the April 19 polls.
