J'khand: Covid tally goes beyond 8,000 with 457 new cases detected, Ranchi tops with fresh 96 cases

Ranchi, Jul 26 (UNI) The Coronavirus tally in the state on Sunday crossed the 8,000-mark as a total 457 fresh cases of Covid-19 were detected across all the 24 districts following which the overall tally of Coronavirus patients stood at 8,349 in Jharkhand.

During the day, 2 each deaths were reported from Ranchi after which the overall death count has gone up to 85 in the state. The increase in fatalities has increased the mortality rate to 1.02 per cent.
