96 policemen detected positive for Coronavirus in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jul 16 (UNI) So far in Jharkhand, 96 police personnel have been detected positive for Coronavirus.
A statement issued by the state police headquarters said that out of these 96 police personnel, 1 is a DSP rank official, 2 are inspector rank officers, 6 are Sub Inspector rank officers, 19 Assistant Sub Inspector rank officers, 11 constables, 47 jawans/drivers, 3 fourth grade employees and 7 home guards. Out of these 96 policemen, 5 have been cured and discharged.
The police headquarters has already issued necessary instructions to all the police officials that apart from maintaining law and order they should take necessary precautions against Coronavirus. The policemen have been asked to maintain social distancing, wear masks, use sanitizers and take all necessary precautions to prevent themselves against Coronavirus, moreover, they have been also asked to take adequate safety measures while taking the accused to the jail.
