230 policemen so far detected positive for Coronavirus in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jul 20 (UNI) So far in Jharkhand 230 police personnel have been detected positive for Coronavirus.
A statement issued by the state police headquarters said, out of these 230 police personnel, 2 are DSP rank officials, 6 are inspector rank officers, 25 are Sub Inspector rank officers, 34 are Assistant Sub Inspector rank officers, 24 constables, 122 jawans/drivers, 6 fourth grade employees and 9 home guards. Out of these 230 policemen, 11 have been cured and discharged. However, these figures based on data available till July 19.
The police headquarters has already issued necessary instructions to all the police officials that apart from maintaining law and order they should take necessary precautions against Coronavirus. The policemen have been asked to maintain social distancing, wear masks, use sanitizers and take all necessary precautions to prevent themselves against Coronavirus, moreover, they have been also asked to take adequate safety measures while taking the accused to the jail.
