Chhattisgarh reports 2017 fresh corona patients, 15 deaths

Raipur, Sep 7 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has witnessed 2017 fresh COVID-19 (coronavirus) patients during the last 24 hours.
With this, state’s COVID-19 tally rose to 47280, though 979 patients who were undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the state have recovered and they have returned to homes after discharge.
Meanwhile 15 patients have succumbed to coronavirus. According to information received from health department out of 2017 fresh coronavirus positive patients maximum 654 belong to Raipur whereas 197 patients were found in Durg, 190 in Rajnandgaon 173 in Bilaspur, 110 in Janjgir-Champa, 82 in Raigarh, 72 in Korba, 48 in Sarguja, 46 in Surajpur, 44 in Sukma, 43 in Dhamtari, 40 in Baloda-Bazaar, 39 in Balod, 36 each in Koriya and Bijapur, 35 in Mahasamund, 33 in Gariaband, 27 in Balrampur, 19 in Mungeli, 17 in Kanker, 15 each in Kabirdham and Narayanpur, 10 in Dantewada, 9 each in Bastar and Kondagaon, 7 in Jashpur, 3 in Bemetara and 2 in Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi. Six positive patients have come from other states.
