Chhattisgarh reports 2100 fresh corona cases, death toll climbs to 380

Raipur, Sep 6 (UNI) As many as 2100 fresh COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases surfaced in Chhattisgarh during the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 45263 on Sunday whereas death toll climbed to 380 with death of 24 patients.
However, 711 patients who were undergoing treatment in various COVID hospitals across the state were discharged after recovery.
According to information received from health department, out of 2100 fresh COVID positive patients, maximum 711 belong to Raipur while 203 patients were found in Bilaspur, 182 in Rajnandgaon, 167 in Raigarh, 125 in Mahasamund, 109 in Durg 86 in Bastar, 64 in Janjgir- Champa, 53 in Baloda-Bazaar, 48 in Dantewada, 41 in Balod, 35 in Kanker, 31 in Sukma, 28 in Surajpur, 26 each in Sarguja and Kondagaon, 25 in Korba, 24 in Bemetara, 22 in Kabirdham and Gariaband, 16 in Dhamtari, 14 in Balrampur, 12 in Bijapur, 11 in Jashpur and 6 each in Koriya and Narayanpur.
