Chhattisgarh to send asymptomatic COVID patients to home isolation

Raipur, Sep 6 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said here on Sunday that his government had taken a decision to treat asymptomatic COVID-19 patients or those with mild COVID symptoms in home isolation.
Mr Baghel discussed the COVID situation in the state and also the measures needed for its prevention through video conferencing with his Cabinet colleagues, District Collectors, Police Superintendents and Medical Officers at his residential office here on Sunday. He stressed on the need to encourage patients to be in home isolation where they will be given all the necessary advice.
The chief minister said that the treatment of asymptomatic patients or those with mild symptoms in home isolation would help ease the pressure in hospitals.
