Raipur, Oct 18 (UNI) As many as 1894 fresh COVID-19 (Coronavirus) positive patients were detected in Chhattisgarh during the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 1,60,396 on Saturday.
Meanwhile 10 patients infected with Coronavirus died in various hospitals, pushing the COVID death toll to 1478 in the state so for. Moreover 305 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovery.
According to information received from health department out of 1894 fresh Coronavirus positive patients maximum 179 belong to Balrampur whereas 176 patients were found in Raigarh, 159 in Korba, 144 in Raipur, 118 in Janjgir-Champa, 67 in Durg, 119 in Rajnandgaon, 71 in Balod, 19 in Bemetara, 30 in Kabirdham, 70 in Dhamtari, 76 in Baloda-Bazaar, 56 in Mahasamund, 22 in Gariaband, 92 in Bilaspur, 22 in Mungeli, 28 in Pendra, 39 in Sarguja, 38 in Koriya, 46 in Surajpur, 54 in Jashpur, 56 in Bastar, 15 in Kondagaon, 35 in Dantewada, 50 in Sukma, 64 in Kanker, 3 in Narayanpur and 43 in Bijapur. Three patients have come from other states. Process of their hospitalization is underway. Meanwhile 305 patients who were undergoing treatment in various hospitals have recovered and they have returned` to their homes after discharge. Ten Coronavirus positive patients including 7 with co-morbidities died in various hospitals. Total 160396 samples have so far tested positive for Coronavirus. At present 26750 active Coronavirus positive patients are under treatment in various hospitals whereas 68199 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery. Total 1478 Coronavirus positive patients have died in the state.
