Raipur, Sep 4 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has registered 1751 new COVID-19 (Coronavirus) positive patients during the last 24 hours. Coronavirus also led to caused 19 fatalities in the state on Friday.
Meanwhile 658 patients who were undergoing treatment in various COVID hospitals across the state recovered and they went back to their homes after discharge.
According to information received from health department out of 1751 fresh COVID-19 positive patients maximum 635 belong to Raipur whereas 268 patients were found in Bilaspur, 165 in Durg, 82 each in Kawardha and Raigarh, 78 in Balod, 72 in Janjgir, 70 in Rajnandgaon, 45 in Jashpur, 38 in Dhamtari, 35 in Sarguja, 34 in Mahasamund, 24 each in Gariaband and Narayanpur, 23 in Bastar, 19 in Kondagaon, 14 in Balrampur, 12 each in Bemetara and Korba, 9 in Koriya, 8 in Bijapur and 3 in Baloda-Bazaar. Four patients have come from other states. Process of their hospitalization is underway. Meanwhile 19 infected patients have died.
