Patna, Jul 21 (UNI) With detection of 1109 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, the total numberof cases has surged to 28564 in Bihar so far.
Health department sources said here today that 431 new cases were found on July 20 and 678 on July 19.
Of the new 431 cases found on July 20 Patna reported with 69 cases followed by Bhagalpur with 51, Muzaffarpur 50, Gaya 46, Jehanabad and Saharsa 26 each, East Champaran 23, Buxar 21, Sheikhpura and Vaishali 14 each, Arwal, Madhepura, Purnea and Sitamarhi 11 each, Lakhisarai and Supaul 8 each, Darbhanga 7, Banka 6, Sheohar and West Champaran 5 each, Madhubani 3, Nalanda 2 and Jamui, Munger and Nawada 1 each.
